Julie Gichuru was not happy with what Kenya Commercial Bank shared with its customers on social media, and the founder of Arise Media could not allow it go behind her back.
It all started when KCB shared a photo from the Beast Of No Nation, with a carefully crafted message meant to sell one of their products after Easter holiday.
But something went on oversight. The movie depicts how African kids were used in the shadow of heinous gangs to commit murder.
Dear @KCBGroup I have a deep appreciation for your brand. Please don't do this. Image from #BeastofNoNation tragic, not for light humour. 🙏 pic.twitter.com/xSoJGY9emJ
