Former Citizen TV anchor Julie Gichuru has reject state job after she was appointed to be among the board members of the Kenya Export Promotion and Brand Agency.
Her appointment had come in during the latest reorganization of President Uhuru Kenyatta’s government.
According to Julie, her schedule is so fixed to accommodate more responsibilities
“Due to heavy prior commitments and my intense travel schedule I cannot accept this appointment. I know there are many Kenyans who could serve this role well. Wish them the best and as always, repping Kenya and Africa in all that I do everywhere that I go,” Julie revealed.
The Kenya Export Promotion and Brand Agency (Chaired by former NMG CEO Linus Gitahi ) deals in promoting trade by tackling challenges faced by exporters and producers of export goods.
