GRADUATE LAND SURVEYOR
Job Purpose: The job holder is responsible for Land surveys, Engineering Survey and Land Management.
Employment Terms: Permanent and Pensionable
Main Responsibilities
a) Carries out field surveys and computations for topographical survey for planning, maintenance and construction.
b) Maintains land and engineering survey records.
c) Liaises with the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Urban Development and County Governments on land matters.
d) Establishes and distributes control points for surveys;
e) Prepares work plans and budgets for land surveys
f) Technical support in land disputes;
Minimum Knowledge, Qualification, Skill and Experience required for these positions
a) Bachelor’s degree in any of the following Geospatial Engineering, Geomatics Engineering, and Land Surveying & Photogrammetry from recognized university.
b) Graduate Member Institution of Surveyors of Kenya.
c) At least I year post-qualification experience

GRADUATE QUANTITY SURVEYOR
Job Purpose: The job holder is responsible for preparing preliminary estimates, tender documents, contract management, payment vouchers and claim analysis for construction goods and services.
Employment Terms: Permanent and Pensionable
Main Responsibilities:
a) Develops preliminary budgets, Bills of Quantities, contract documents and cost plans;
b) Prepares tender documentation;
c) Analyses contractual claims and provide advice on the same;
d) Establishes cost and financial control systems to ensure set budgets are not exceeded, analyze outcomes and write detailed progress reports on building projects; e) Undertakes valuation of work done including materials on site, certify payments, prepare Variation Orders and Final Accounts for building projects; and
f) Any other Assistant QS related duties as may be assigned.
Minimum Knowledge, Qualification, Skill and Experience required for these positions
a) Bachelor’s degree in building economics/quantity surveying.
b) Graduate Membership to Institute of Quantity Surveyors of Kenya (IQSK)/Architectural Association of Kenya (AAK)
c) At least 1 year post-qualification experience

b) Liaises with legal department in preparation and execution of contracts;
c) Prepares specifications, bills of quantities and estimates for tendering of communications and electronics works;
d) Prepares tender documents and liaise with Procurement & Logistics Department to ensure project implementation as per Procurement and Work Plans;
e) Prepares and maintains project status reports; and
f) Liaises with relevant stakeholders in project implementation to minimize business interruption during supervision services.

a) University degree in Mechanical Engineering
