We are seeking to appoint eighteen Bank Support Service Cashiers within our Cash Services Division.
This position reports to the Supervisor – Field Operations or the Bank Support Service Supervisor, depending on area of posting. The main purpose of the role is to receive customer cash and cheque deposits for processing and banking.
Service Cashier Job Role Responsibility:
Main Responsibilities
- Prompt cash collection and confirmation from customers
- Keep proper records of cash received and retain documents for future reference
- Cash processing and banking of cash collected
- Participate in Cashiering duties in field operations duties
The Ideal Candidate:
Requirements for Service Cashier Job
- We seek to recruit Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education holders with a mean grade of C minus or above who will initially receive on the job training for the role.
- At the end of the training, an exam shall be administered and only those who attain the prescribed pass mark at this examination shall be considered for employment.
- Successful candidates shall undergo a screening and vetting process that may require some form of a guarantee from people well known to the candidates.
Personal Attributes Required:-
- In addition to the above qualifications, the job requires individuals whose integrity is beyond reproach;
- are willing to work long unsocial hours at times;
- Basic IT skills;
- good communication and interpersonal skills;
- an eye for detail and very accurate with figures.
