We look at Kenyan journalists who have tested positive of corona virus .

On 20th July 2020, Citizen TV anchor and popular journalist Jeff Koinange added his name to Kenyans who have tested positive, as well as a click of other journalists .

Jeff posted a heartbreaking message on his account, prompting Kenyans to wish him a quick recovery.

However, Jeff assured his fans that he was doing great and everything to worry was not there.

Folks, just to let you know, I have tested POSITIVE for Covid-19. I'm doing Good..NO symptoms…and my Family is fine. All my close contacts have been informed. Right now I'm in self isolation. Steven Letoo

Stephen Letoo, Citizen TV reporter who was on the frontline of COVID-19 news, says that he never knew that he was positive with COVID19.

He said that after receiving the news, it felt like a shock since he could not expect to be positive.

Lucky enough, he was just asymptomatic and his case was not serious

Bonnie Musambi

Kenya Broadcasting Corporation (KBC) TV host Bonnie Musambi had tested positive of COVID-19.

On July 20 also revealed that he is recovering from the virus just like other his fellows .

In a statement, Musambi said he was diagnosed about three weeks ago but opted not to make it public.

The KBC TV news anchor who also doubles up as a radio host said he was asymptomatic and isolated himself after the diagnosis.

He said that he’s healed but would take another test later in the week.
