Being brought up by a single parent is not a wish of anyone, but is sometimes the cause of fate.

Every child, wishes to be brought up by both parents, so as to enjoy all the benefits that comes in hand.

However, not everyone wishes to live such kind of life. Nonetheless no human is limited and we got a list of male celebs who broke the yoke of single parents to their maiden success.

Embakasi East MP and former University of Nairobi student leader is no doubt a successful man yet he is not yet 40 years old.

Despite his prominence in Kenya, Babu Owino aka Paul Ongili was raised up by a single parent, his mother.

Babu always thanked his mother who raised him together with other siblings in Kisumu’s slum Nyalenda.

His mother relied only on selling illicit brews for their survival and education

2.Maina Kageni

Radio guru in Maina Kageni is also another powerful product of a single mother.

The radio host is no doubt top notch radio presenters in Kenya, all thanks to his relenting mum who took care of him as well as offering him education.

3.Otile Brown

Otile was brought up by his mother up to the age of 13 years old.

Until then, his mum died and Otile lived a very poor life, sometimes relying on selling alcohol.

Today, Otile Brown is a top notch celeb

4.Mike Mondo

Classic 105 top radio presenter’s dad passed away when he was barely 13 years old.

But since then his mum took over for the product ladies can enjoy to listen to every each other day on Classic 105.

Besides his mother decided not to get married again so as to give her kids the maximum attention they deserved.

5.Diamond Platnumz

Even though he is a Tanzanian, one can not fail to mention the Diamond since his popularity is wide and amazing.

It is worth to note that he was raised up by a single mother after his dad married another wife following a feud with the mother.

Diamond has however found a common ground with the embattled father.

6.Boniface Mwangi

The owner of activist and artist corner PAWA 254 was brought up by a single mother.

Even though we don’t yet what happened to his dad, Mwangi revealed that his mother was very supportive enough to educate them.

However he blames his mum for remaining silent and secrete about sex education

7.Jeff Koinange

His dad died while ago when he was only two years old.

Jeff is from the family lineage of former nationalist late Mbiu Koinange
