The incident, which occurred in Maungu, Voi, Taita Taveta County, involved a collision between the university bus and a loaded trailer, resulting in casualties and injuries among the students.
Eyewitness accounts and photos circulating online depict a harrowing scene where the Kenyatta University bus was rear-ended by the trailer, predominantly impacting students seated in the rear of the bus.
