Betty Akinyi, posted suicidal messages on her Facebook timeline after she claimed that she caught her husband footballer David Mwangi and her mother in a popular Nairobi lodging having sex.
Betty further claimed that her small sister Stacey was her husband’s daughter, something their dad was all aware, prompting her father to vanish from the family matters for a good 19 years.
It is thought that their dad Job Odhiambo Oyieyo, could not stand such a family shame
Sony Sugar FC defender has denied the allegations posted by his wife on Facebook.
“She is my wife. But what she said on social media is not true,” the former Mathare United and Tusker player said
David who has been in marriage with Betty for 8 years, are blessed with two kids.
According to Sony Sugar FC team manager Stock Ouma, the defender was sacked after he missed his duties, if not his contract could be still running.
Her mother Millicent Atieno has also denied the allegations.
“Betty is my daughter. She is my first born in a family of six. And we’ve lived together in Naivasha, until when she got married in 2011. I’ve heard of what she said about me and her husband. Nothing is true. Betty amechanganyikiwa tu. I did not sleep with my son-in-law.”
The mother points that her problems started in March 24 when she traveled from Nairobi to Nakuru where she lives.
She says that Betty went for a casual job only to be paid sh.300 instead of agreed sh.1000.
She caused chaos which led to her crowd beating, an allegation her mum says could have rendered her madness.
A spot check on Facebook reveals that she has been envying Kenya Harlequins rugby player Alex Olaba where she has posted a number of his pictures including changing her name to Betty Olaba.
Alex Olaba was not bothered by her actions, since he believes that she is just one of his big fans
Her close friend in Nairobi who has known her for long says that Betty could be suffering from drug abuse and depression
