Africa Youth Awards is a continental initiative meant to identify, celebrate and encourage young Africans making strides across various fields.

The award scheme which also includes excellent Africans in diaspora, was launched in 2014 after being inspired by the lack of recognition for young Africans who have selflessly dedicated their lives to making sure the future of Africa is optimistic.

The offices of Africa Youth Awards are headquartered in Accra, Ghana

In 2020, Kenyans from professional areas have made it to the list of nominees as the voting countdown starts.
