Vice Chair of IEBC, Commissioner Roselyn Akombe is supposed to be in Dubai inspecting the printing of election ballot papers, but that is not the case.

She has sort asylum in New York, USA where she holds a dual citizenship.

Akombe sites her resignation was based on her personality as an individual committed to integrity and her security threats.

She confirmed to the BBC Radio that she had received several threats from unknown people. Her brother too was not spared in the spread of threat messages. Her brother too had to flee for his own security measures
