Lupita Nyongó took the opportunity to address the issue concerning her political bid for the presidency post in furyre during the interview with ‘The Hollywood Reporter’ which was published yesterday on 25ht January.
While her father has been a politician for decades, Lupita said that she does not indent to join politics, and clarified that she would never bid for a presidential bid in her entire lifetime.
Despite having parents born and bread here in Kenya, in fact his dad Anyang’Nyongó is the Kisumu governor and her mother the Kisumu first lady, Lupita has always been referred to as ‘Born in Mexico and brought up in Kenya’ the matter of her ‘true’ citizenship p has remained a mystery.
The Kenyan rule of the law, constitution , indicates that one must never hold dual citizenship to vie for a presidential post.
