Kitui deputy Governor Dr Wathe Nzau’s driver who was declared missing by police has been traced and rescued from a drinking den.
According to Kitui County Police Commander Antony Kamitu , the driver Anthony Kang’oti was found drunk around Kimbeni area before he was taken to Bamburi police station.
Mr.Kangóti was went missing on last Thursday, on the same day, the county vehicle he was using had been recovered in Mombasa town.
“It is the vehicle which was found. We are yet to get the driver. We are working to know who was the driver. I am yet to get more details on it,” Mombasa police commander Johnston Ipara said.
