A bus belonging to Modern Coast luxury coach operators went up in flames on Saturday while heading to Mtito Andei while in Kwale County.
The incident which took place at night, involved an empty bus under number plate KBZ 820N. The police are investigating the cause of the fire.
Kwale County Commissioner Karuku Ngumo confirmed that no injuries were reported.
“No one was injured as it would appear that the bus had no passengers at the time,” he said.
