The varsity senate has asked the students to vacate the premises of the school after violent protests broke out following an alleged rape case to one of the female students from a male security guard.
Last week, a female student was forced to give in to the demands of the security guards after she returned to the hostels late and feared the discipline she would get suppose the security guard reported her to the administration.
Even though the guard has been arrested , he still awaits the prosecution in court but students vowed to go on peaceful demos to ensure that he was charged.
This comes a few days later after University of Nairobi was also closed indefinately following a series of protests from students who were protesting against police brutality on students and arrest of MP Babu Owino former SONU chair .
