Ngilu Escaped Death as Former Mayor Is Crashed To Death In Kitui Riots

Former Kitui Mayor, Martha Mwangangi was crashed to death by a fire engine bragade that run in the the protesters in Kitui town who were on road to protest against the county government demotion of Kiosks.

Lucking, Former Lands CS Charity Ngilu escaped unhurt during the violent demonstrations that turned horrific.

The drive of the fire engine is said to have tried to scare away the protesters who were after the blood of one the officials who were on demolition duty.

It is then that he ran into and killed the mayor on spot. The CS escaped through a pinhole when her bodyguards pulled her away from the baying engine.

This incident sparked up the collition between the public and the protesters. Area Mp Makali Mulu also escaped the death when his bodyguards whisked him away from the angry protesters.
