Since filters were invented on social networks, few have dared to upload a photograph without a little touch to their profiles. In fact, it is common to see a person wondering if it is the same person they saw on the networks.
However, that of two renowned Chinese influencers goes further, to the point of being considered scammers. The young women became a trend in their country after bringing to light the photographs of how they really are.
The influencers showed how photo editing software can give them a radically different look. They both altered their faces and became slimmer and more stylized. In other words, plastic surgeries were done without going through the surgeon.
The photos have gone viral, not just in China, but around the world, after user Jevin Cheng aka Ex Treme posted them on his Facebook page. They were shared more than 18,000 times, receiving more than 2,000 comments.
According to World of Buzz, what is written in the models’ publication says: “After being secretly photographed, I have not been in a very good mood. So these photos were never published on the internet, after weighing my options. “
As expected, the comments did not take long, some pointing out that this is why you should not trust images that seem too good to be true on the internet. Others said that this is another level of catfishing (when someone encourages you to have a relationship using a false personality on the internet).
