Opportunity Alert For Unemployed KCSE, Diploma Or Degree Graduates In Kenya

The County Government of Marsabit through the Department of Education, Skills Development, Youth and Sports intends to implement Marsabit Youth Policy’s second pillar of Marsabit Youth Community Service (MY-CSP) through the Workplace Learning Programme.

The Programme targets young people who have completed their Secondary Education (KCSE), college and/or university training and have not had the opportunity to be employed and wish to improve their employability through on job training.

The objective of the program is to have a well-structured community service program that delivers quality skills transfer to enhance youth employability in the County, creating smooth transition from education and training to employment by exposing unemployed youth to the workplace.

The Department, therefore, seeks for suitable persons with relevant professional knowledge and skills from recognized institutions to be engaged in the listed workplace learning positions:


• Resident of Marsabit County

• Aged between 18 – 35 years

• Ready to serve for a period of 1 year

• Have the requisite academic qualification.

• Be ready to serve in the ward applied for.
