The hot Census jobs which requires about 164,000 job applicants, has sparked social media outcry from unemployed youths in Kenya.

The outcry which began during the recruitment process continue to fall on the deaf ears of employed Kenyans majorly from Public Service seeking to take advantage of the lucrative temporary jobs.

Some of the employed youths who turned up for the interview, revealed that they could spot well fed Kenyans who have good jobs and even can afford to drive, going to queue for the interviews

Youths especially young jobless graduates, have asked the government to intervene and save the situation

Social media outcry

I can assure you that there were about 6 people administering the interview, all came in 2 government vehicles parked inside the school where there are many more cars belonging to job applicants

While we have youths who meet all the qualifications 😭😭
The sad thing is this are our parents, aunties, uncle's, school heads and people we look up to. It sums up to a man eat man society, so sad😭

Teachers hawa. I remember years ago when, as a jobless youth straight from uni., I applied for IEBC Presiding/ DPO officer's job. In the shortlist were senior principals and Headmasters. Karma intervened. The interview was a simple assignment in msWord. We (youths) got the jobs.

Why not recall the university students who are on recess and give them this job ?This is a good opportunity for them to have job attachment and experience you usually ask for from them. These heaps of old teachers loosely masquerading as jobless Kenyans cannot go unchallenged.
