- He is the former Director of Public Prosecution between the year 2005
- He started being a baby boy by 4th of July 1961 at Iten District Hospital to her mother Christine Chebor, who was a nurse, in Elgeyo Marakwet District.
- His father, Charles Murgor, was working a district officer in the colonial administration
- He studied law at University of Nairobi and Kenya School of Law .
- He is a lawyer and he owns Murgor and Murgor Advocates
- He met the wife of his life in 1990 during a study program in USA, they are now blessed with 3 kids
- He was charged with being sympathetic to the 1982 coup detat by the Kenya Airforce. His death sentence was overruled by an incoming new AG by then.
- During the Angloleasing Scandal and the Goldenberge scandal, he was appointed by president Kibaki to prosecute the perpetrators. He resigned after death threats.
- He worked as the Chairman of Wildlife Direct Kenya (WLD) in 2014
- He was part of the team that initiated the Hands Off Our Elephants Campaign to help save our endangered animals from poachers
