A new looking AgustaWestland AW119 registration: 5Y NPW belonging to Kenya Police has crashed in Meru.
The plane crashed in early morning hours of Saturday 13th June .
The immediate cause of the crash was not established.
However the chopper was destined to Marsabit before in crash-landed in Kaithe Kithoka in Meru after developing mechanical defects.
On board was Eastern Regional commissioner and his security team.
