On 10th January 2022, Africa’s fastest man, Ferdinand Omanyala was among 2,881 constables who graduated from the National Police College in Kiganjo.
Among other graduates were fellow athletes namely Commonwealth 5000m Champion Beatrice Chebet and Olympian Daniel Simiu a
Omanyala was appointed as an Inspector by the National Police Service in 2021.
