President Uhuru Kenyatta is set to tour Nyanza region for the first time since a famous handshake with NASA leader and Luo Kingpin Raila Odinga.
The tour set for July will be the first time since the 2017 August election and a famous handshake on March 9th 2018.
President Uhuru and his Tanzanian counterpart President John Pombe Magufuli together with US Ex President Barack Obama will be led by the one Raila Odinga during their iconic tour.
Raila Odinga after meeting with a section of Luo leaders led by Migori Governor Okoth Obado announced on Tuesday 27th June that President Uhuru and President Magufuli will tour specifically Nyatike area.
Minority Leader in the National Assembly echoed sentiments made by NASA leader that the Nyanza region was warming up to welcome the two leaders.
Tanzanian President Magufuli was a strong ally and supporter of Raila Odinga during the previous general elections.
Raila however did not reveal much details of the tour.
