Rapper Wangechi Waweru has added another feather to her hat after graduating from Strathmore University in a colourful ceremony on Friday.

Wangeci, who now holds a degree in Bachelors of Business Science in Financial Economics, took to Instagram to break the good news of her accomplishment to her followers.

“This is one of the proudest moments of my life. Considering I am a high believer in the importance of education. I would write a long speech about everything I’ve gone through to get to this moment, but I’d rather thank everyone who contributed to me getting here. This was not a one man sailed ship. I officially hold a Degree in Bachelors of Business Science in Financial Economics. Let it be known you can accomplish anything you put you dedicate your time and energy too,” wrote Wangechi.

Speaking on phone, the Do for Love and Push hitmaker recounted her journey to get where she is now was met with a lot of challenges.

“It is a big accomplishment because of the challenges I went through, with the accident and losing a best friend. It was hard. I lost a whole semester because of the accident and had to take a crush programme so as to catch up with the others. But thanks to the support from my family and my fans I now stand victorious,” she said.
