In this article we are going to talk about a big mistake that many students make: studying lying down. We are going to see 3 important reasons not to do so

Check them below

  1. Induces sleep

It is the fundamental reason why it is recommended not to study lying down. It only takes a little fatigue to start having a little sleep.

There are many anecdotes of students who fell asleep while reading or trying to study a lie on a bed or in a comfortable chair.

  1. Bad posture

Even if one manages to stay awake, the position may not be correct. Neck and back may be in bad posture. From this, then cervical pain that can last to whole week is derived.

Not to mention those who lie down to read or even take notes. We must also take into account the lighting to study well, which may not be the best if you have a lamp or lamp nearby.

  1. Importance of study

I think this is the most important point of all. You do not play football sitting, you do not dance while sitting and you do not sleep standing up either. Each activity that one performs has an appropriate way to be carried out.

This goes beyond how one feels comfortable doing it. In the case of the study, it is an assumed commitment that implies fulfilling the task and doing it in the correct way.

The way in which we face this activity that defines us as students, reflects the level of commitment we have with our goal.
