Google announced a plan to train 1 Million African youth on digital skills within one year. As a result of this announcement Google partnered with Blu Flamingo to bolster its already existing program; DigiCon Mini, a digital training initiative targeting the youth.
DigiCon Mini is a new pathway in education, employment, and empowerment, proving that by learning and improving digital skills, one can increase their chances of becoming employed or starting their own business or freelance career in Sub-Saharan Africa.
