Deputy President will graduate in December 2018 with a doctorate in plant ecology from the University of Nairobi.
DP Ruto is among the 7 students who were approved by the University of Nairobi senate which was chaired by Vice-chancellor Peter Mbithi and attended by acting Deputy Vice-chancellor, Academic Affairs, Julius Ogeng’o.
By December 21, Ruto will be referred as Dr. William Ruto instead of his famed title ‘Hustler Ruto’ after 6 years in school.
His thesis title was;
“Influence of human activities on land use changes on environmental quality of riparian ecosystems: A case study of Saiwa Swamp watershed, Western Kenya”.
Ruto’s thesis was submitted this year in September.
