Kenyan dirty politics will soon be welcoming a familiar new sheriff in town. This follows after Joshua Sang sited that he could not resist the urge from the people around him.
On Tuesday, International Criminal Court (ICC) prosecutor judges by majority terminated crimes against humanity charges against Sang and Deputy President William Ruto.
“I am consulting with several advisors about what seat to run for. If I do run for a political seat, I will do so on a Jubilee ticket,” said Sang.
In 2013, Sang’ had thrown his weight behind former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s presidential bid. Mr Odinga lost to President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Sang now laments that the ICC case has “turned my life upside down”.
“I lost my job at Kass FM, I had to transfer my children from their schools because they were being taunted, I missed my daughters’ graduation.
It is unfortunate that a wrong case was allowed to go on for so long,” said Sang.
“Even if the prosecutor starts another case I am not afraid because I did nothing to orchestrate the post elections violence. I will remain innocent,” he concluded.
