Nairobi governor Mike Sonko’s search for his deputy has inched closer after dropping off former Starehe MP Margret Wanjiru and business woman Agness Kagure.
He will now choose either former Nairobi women rep aspirant Karen Nyamu or Jane Weru to succeed Polycarp Igather who moved to join banking giant Equity Bank.
Sonko who made the announcements during a prayer service in Nairobi, did not however reveal the method he used to narrow down to the two.
“Nimareduce kutoka wale wa nne, nimebaki na Nyamu na Jane,” he said.
