Abantone musician Stoopid Boy has taken a bold new step in his life after completing a three-month rehabilitation program. The rising star, known for his G-Bag Na Jug anthem, revealed that he has embarked on a journey of salvation and is determined to turn his life around. YouTuber and content creator Oga Obinna has pledged to support the young artist as he reintegrates into society and rebuilds his future.

Obinna, who previously joined forces with former Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko to get Stoopid Boy into rehab, confirmed that the artist would not be returning to his old neighborhood. Instead, he will be living with Obinna’s bodyguard Munez and another member of the team, Omosh. This arrangement is meant to ensure close monitoring and create a stable, supportive environment for Stoopid Boy’s recovery.

“For the next three months, he is going to move in with Munez and Omosh because they live close to each other,” Obinna said. “The reason we are doing this is that someone has to monitor him. If Munez is going to the gym, they will go together. When they come back, Munez and I will go do our thing, and he will be going to school with Nick. Food, house, and clothes are taken care of for the next three months or so.”

Obinna emphasized that reintroducing the musician to Gotta City, where he previously lived, would risk undoing all the progress made during rehabilitation. Instead, the plan includes enrolling him in a media institute to learn new skills, attending gym sessions for physical well-being, and building a solid foundation for his career. Obinna noted that Stoopid Boy will be slowly onboarded into his team, where he can grow creatively and personally without pressure.

He also urged Kenyans to show compassion and avoid judging Stoopid Boy based on his past now that he has chosen the path of salvation. “We are going to structure his career. When we see the momentum building, it will be easier to say that he can now stay alone without someone monitoring. Every Monday, he will be with us so he can start learning,” said Obinna.

Stoopid Boy, who found faith while in rehab, has shared publicly that his decision to follow Christ marks a new beginning. His fans, while surprised by the transformation, have mostly responded with encouragement, acknowledging his efforts and commending Obinna for stepping up to help.

Earlier this year, Stoopid Boy made headlines when he pleaded with his ex-girlfriend to bring back their child after their separation. He explained that she left him shortly after securing a well-paying job at a bank, a turn of events that led some of his friends to ridicule him. Despite the heartbreak, he expressed a willingness to forgive and rebuild, showing a continued desire for personal growth and healing.

With support from Obinna and a new life direction, Stoopid Boy is now focused on restoring his life, nurturing his talents, and inspiring others through his redemption journey.
