Jaguar is a Kenyan household. A celeb in the music industry, a board member of the National Authority for the Campaign against Alcohol and Drug Abuse, NACADA, and a role model to many. Like any other personality in the limelight, controversy dogs him. Today, he has a 50-50 share of fans and haters. That aside… Not everyone knows everything about Jaguar. The following facts will blow up your mind.

1. Richest artist in Kenya
If you got it, show it. As much as discussions are arising in the music industry, the Kigeugeu singer has a lot to prove that he is richest artist in east Africa. Jaguar drives posh cars among them a range rover sporty car that has made him popular Jaguar, Mercedes Benz, Bentley, and a Lexus.
2. Jaguar the hawker
Jaguar, the 2011 Kisima Best Boomba Artiste award winner was once a prominent hawker along streets, brushing shoulders with Kanjo along the Ngara streets. While hawking mali mali, Jaguar met this man Mr. Gathigu who gave him hope.
3. Lost his mother in class 8
The singer’s mother died when he was in class seven. His uncle who took part in helping him finish class eight raised him up.
4. First Kenyan artist to ride a Cyboard in London
During the Kenyan fest in London in 2015, the Kipepeo singer was experimenting on new technology known as Cyboard .the richest Kenyan artist joined a list of celebrities including Justin Beiber, Wiz Khalifa, and Chris Brown among others in balancing on Cyboard. This is a moto-powered and ultramodern skateboard found in western market
5. Jaguar has a giving heart
Could it be because of his background? Well, Jaguar had it rough in his earlier days and this has pushed him into charity work. The founder of youth empowerment foundation aims to reach to at least 60 percent of Kenyan population. The moneyed artist now gives scholarships to needy students in the country to light up their future.
6. Jaguar the tout
The Kioo singer whose real name is Charles Kanyi Nyagua worked as a matatu tout in route 58(Buruburu) and rout 15(Langata) as a matatu Dj, mixing it for the passengers. This is where his passion for music started.
7. He attended Sonko’s father burial
The NACADA board member ditched a performance in London to attend the burial of the Nairobi senator mike Mbuvi last year. His arrival was like a professor attending the burial.
8. The head teacher –Mr Gathigu
After the death of his mother, the academic doors for the NACCADA board member closed and he had no option but to join the hawking world. While hawking, he met Mr. Gathigu, the head teacher of Magutuini Primary School. The Godsend man allowed Jaguar to complete his studies after many schools rejected his request. Jaguar has since awarded the man a Toyota RAV4 for saving his life.
9. The entrepreneurial skills
The 2011 best east African music award male artist owns various businesses including real estates, security firms, and auto garage business in Kenya. The Kigeugeu singer owns a chopper and a convertible range rover named jaguar, which appears in his Kigeugeu video.
10. He can feed a village for month
Through an a recent interview, the Kigeugeu man said that all his income from his business, NACADA board member allowances of 300,000 and payment from Safaricom could feed a village for a month. Oh My! Jaguar is filthy rich!
