Residents of Embakassi East area sought to block major routes heading to Nairobi CBD as they protested over poor road structure.

The locals barricaded the roads with stones and burnt tires in the middle of the roads. Other issues addressed by the locals pointed to poor road structures and engineering.

The issue was immediately addressed by area MP Babu Owino.
