President Uhuru Kenyatta snubbed Jubilee Aspirant for Nairobi gubernatorial seat , Mike Sonko, and opted to launch 7 ambulances with his close rival current governor Evans Kidero.
The event which took a very light moment at the state house saw Uhuru Kenyatta drive off Kidero who was on the passenger seat.
The 7 ambulances had been bought from money which was discovered and recovered from the chickengate scandal which was a bribe to IIEC to help Smith and Ouzma firm to win the tender of ballot printing
Governors Joshua Irungu, (Laikipia), Ahmed Abdullahi (Wajir), Simon Kachapin (West Pokot), Julius Malombe (Kitui), Evans Kidero (Nairobi) and Senator Kipchumba Murkomen (Elgeyo Marakwet) received the ambulances on behalf of their counties.
