Wole Soyinka promised to leave US if Trump becomes the 45th president. And his wish has been granted.

Wole who lectures at the University of New York, promised to leave US if Trump was to be elected president.
“Come January 20, 2017; watch my WOLEXIT!”, Wole wrote in an email to the Abuja-based The Interview magazine on 10 November.
US-based Newsweek magazine reports that the Nigerian author is biding his time until Trump’s inauguration on 20 January 2017.
“Why don’t we wait until Trump actually takes office? I’m just going about my normal commitments, but definitely not getting into any more commitments. Let’s put it that way for now.” Wole was quoted by Newsweek magazine.
It’s not clear whether Wole will return to Nigeria or England, he also lectures at various universities in the UK.
