Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has kicked storm on social media after he shared photos of himself attending an Asian prayer event.

Cladding a yellow turban, Sonko identified himself with the Asians at Hare Krishna special prayers for the Sikh community in Nairobi at Siri Gurdwara Ramgarhia Railway temple.
The controversial governor triggered comical tweets which largely seemed to agree with his mode of dress and faith during with them.
