Facebook is integrating with the numerous companies that offer paid content within its platform. Mark Zuckerberg and his team have started the pilot program to integrate paid ads within the Facebook Messenger platform.
This is something that has been coming for some months, even the company had announced at the end of 2016 its intention to make this project a reality.
While Facebook already has a large list of advertisers on its platform, it had never tried to integrate them into its messaging app. The social network has seen a good space to be able to place ads specifically aimed at each user.
According to the company, the messages will not appear in the conversations at any time, rather they will be displayed in the list of chats that have open and will be located under your selection of favorite contacts.
By clicking on the ad, the link will take you to the action that the advertiser has chosen, very much like the call-to-action buttons that are placed at the top of the company pages of each profile. It may be that by clicking you are redirected to the advertiser’s website or perhaps to a Facebook store located directly on the business page.
These types of programs generate a greater interaction between the advertising companies and the users who look for their products.
