Here are the top list of KCSE results 2018.

Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) top candidate, scored an A of 87.664 points.

  1. James Kanuna – Maseno School
  2. Edwin Otieno Ouko – Light Academy
  3. Ian Duncan Mwangi – Moi High School Kabarak
  4. Humphrey Rasugu – Maseno School 

10 Facts About KCSE 2018 

  1. 660,204 candidates  sat the examination.
  2. 338,628 were male and 321,576 were female, representing 51.29% and 48.71% of the total candidature respectively.
  3. 1,499 candidates with special needs sat the 2018 KCSE compared to 1,407 in 2017.
  4. 315 candidates scored an A plain in the 2018 KCSE
  5. 90,377 candidates scored C+ and above 
  6. 2018 KCSE examinations were free of any leakage
  7. Results of about 100 students were cancelled
  8. There were 10, 078 examination centres across the country.
  9. 18 counties had more females than male compared to 17 counties last year.
  10. Female candidates performed better than their male counterparts in English, Kiswahili, CRE, Home science and metal work.
