Grace Ramtu, the reigning Miss World Kenya 2024–2025, has officially jetted off to India to represent the nation at the 72nd Miss World Festival in Telangana. Her departure was more than just a flight—it was a powerful symbol of national pride and purpose. Clad in elegance and waving the Kenyan flag from a luxury vehicle en route to the airport, Grace’s exit from Nairobi marked the beginning of a global journey with deeply rooted local significance.

As Kenya’s representative on the international stage, Grace is carrying more than a crown—she is championing a powerful cause through the Miss World Foundation’s “Beauty with a Purpose” initiative. Her mission is focused on mentoring and supporting young survivors of sexual abuse, a cause she actively advances through her volunteer work at Maisha Girls Safe House in Nairobi.

At the Safe House, Grace dedicates her time to mentoring girls who have survived sexual violence, offering both emotional support and practical tools for empowerment. Her advocacy aims to give these young survivors a voice and a future. “Education is your right. Don’t let social norms hold you back,” Grace has often emphasized, echoing her commitment to uplifting the next generation through awareness, resilience, and access to education.

A press statement described Grace’s journey as a reflection of both personal strength and national pride. “With elegance and determination, Grace carries the hopes of a nation eager to see her shine on the global stage,” it read.

Organizers of the Miss World Festival have also recognized Grace’s unique blend of beauty, intellect, and compassion, describing her as a standout delegate who embodies the evolving essence of modern pageantry. Her presence at the festival is not only a celebration of Kenya’s cultural richness but a powerful reminder of the role beauty queens play as ambassadors of change.

Now in its second day, the Miss World Festival has drawn participants from across the globe, each bringing forward compelling causes and showcasing their nations’ diversity. Among them, Grace Ramtu stands out—not only for her striking appearance and poise but for her passionate dedication to a humanitarian cause that resonates far beyond the runway.

As Kenyans follow her journey closely, Grace continues to receive waves of support from fans and public figures alike. Her courage, elegance, and sense of purpose represent a new chapter in Kenya’s participation in global pageantry—one where impact takes centre stage.

From Nairobi to Telangana, Grace Ramtu is not just competing for a crown. She is amplifying voices that deserve to be heard and shining a global spotlight on the strength of Kenyan women.
