Toady, Friday 13th October of 2017 is considered as one of the most not lucky days on earth.
The day is so superstitious that many believers would not take on their daily chores like flying and even traveling by on road or air.
Surprisingly, this superstitious is widely worshiped by the western countries, a very ironical idea keeping in mind that they have always accused Africans to be so superstitious.

- It is so strange that this date Friday 13th of October is no more mentioned earlier than the 19th century, the earlier centuries don’t seem to have recorded such incident, making its origin another mysterious puzzle for the concerned minds
- However, their is a theory that tries to hold some little water in the glass, the day 13 represents the 13 disciples of Jesus while the day Friday is the day Jesus was laid on the cross and crucified. The 13th disciple and betrayer Judas seems to be the one coining the theory
- In Italy, it is rather Number 17 Friday which is lucky for them, and infact 13 is a lucky number, this means that the Friday 13th is not a bad day for all but for some
- A film and a a video game on the same fatefull day is underway, the movie by CW network is thought to be ready by end of 2017.
- Whenever the January 1st falls on Thursdays, except on leap years, We shall have Friday 13th on February, March and November. This thus will happen 11 times on this 21st century. And If January 1st falls on the Sunday, then it is of a leap year, the bad days of Friday 13 will occur on same January, April and July
- Their is also a bad historical fact in France in 1307, King Philip IV, ordered the arrest of all Templar Knights who were roasted on the same bad date in France. The Templar Knights were accused of being ‘enemies of the faith’
- Fear of Friday the 13th is paraskevidekatriaphobia, or friggatriskaidekaphobia, named for the Norse goddess Frigga, who gave her name to Friday in Norse myth. This phobia is a recognized phenomenon.
- Have you ever seen a movie called ‘Alive’ when it is based on a true story which stirs a South American plane which crashed in 1972, on a day like today. Dozens were killed.
- In some Spanish speaking countries, Tuesday of 13ths is such a bad day, because of its close association with god of war, Mars, thus many believers will avoid taking crucial chores like traveling and getting married
- However, not all people have had it as their worst day, like for Taylor Swift, 13 and even Friday 13 is his lucky number and date. “I was born on the 13th. I turned 13 on Friday the 13th. My first album went gold in 13 weeks. My first #1 song had a 13-second intro,” the singer told MTV in an interview in 2009.
