Kenya Airlines appointed its new CEO yesterday who is scheduled to resume his job begining this June 1st.

The polish businessman will replace the current Managing Director and CEO Mbuvi Ngunze. Here are 10 quick facts about New KQ CEO, Sebastian Mikosz

1. He has served for more than 20 years in executive management in both private and public sector
2. He also served as a CEO for Polish Airlines
3. He was also the CEO of esKy.pl, a leading central European online travel agency and LOT Polish Airlines
4. The 44 year old boosts of a well knowledge in 4 languages . Polish, French, English and Russian.
5. He is a graduate of the Institute of Political Studies (IEP Paris) in France with a Master’s degree in Economics and Finance.
6. Began his first job in 1977 at Arthur Andersen office in Paris and later became the Managing Director of the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Poland (CCIFP)
7. He was also a Director in Deloitte Business Consulting Warsaw Office and Vice-President of the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency (PAIiIZ)
