10 Facts You Need To Know About Killer Cop Caroline Kangogo

At first, when  corporal Caroline Chemutai Kangogo was first accused of killing a police constable John Ongweno of Kasarani Police Lines, in Nakuru County many Kenyans thought that it was one of the many cases of love gone bad among the police force.

However, her suspected killing turned to a movie thriller when she was accused of killing another man, Peter Ndwiga Njiru in Kiambu.

Her target victims apparently became men she had love relationship affair.

Here are some curious facts about Caroline Kangogoi.

  1. Corporal Kangogo was born 34 years ago on January 10, 1987, in formally Keiyo district, Tambach division in now Elgeyo Marakwet County.
  2. She is the firstborn in the family of Barnaba Kipkoech Korir (father) and Leah Jepkosgei Kangogo (mother).
  3. She is a married wife to a senior police officer identified as Richard Kipkirui Ngeno with whom they are blessed with two children, a boy and a girl, aged 11 and 8 years respectively.
  4. She started her early education in 1994 at Nyawa Nursery School
  5. She then proceeded to Nyawa Boarding Primary school and later joined St Francis Secondary School.
  6. She later joined  St Alphonsus Mutei Girls’ school where she sat for her KCSE exams and scored a C- in 2006.
  7. In 2008 she joined National Police Service and was admitted to Kenya Police College Kiganjo where she underwent her initial training before starting her official duties in 2009
  8.  The in 2014, she returned to Kiganjo for a corporal course that saw her promoted to the rank of corporal officer in 2015.
  9. Caroline served as a police at  P.T.C Mombasa, Kaloleni Police Station, K.P.C Kiganjo and Central Police Station in Nakuru where she has been serving since 2015
  10.  Nakuru Police Commander Beatrice Karaguri said that Kangogo has been good at her work and there is nothing telling about her work that can be linked to her recent killing spree.
