John Macharia, son of Royal Media Services owner SK. Macharia lost his life today at Karen Hospital in Nairobi following a tragic accident on the morning 27th April 2018.
The accident occurred along the Southern Bypass.

- This is not his first accident for the fallen Macharia.
- In 2016, he was involved in another serious accident when her ran into a stationery Toyota car with his 13 million worth Porsche
- His passenger survived the horrific accident in the early morning of April 27th 2018
- His car model is Porsche Cyann 2017, valued at more than 13 million
- The top speed of his car is 350km/h
- At the time of his death, he is said to have been speeding
- He owned AKM limited, founded Tripple A Finance and Direct Line Assurance
- When he caused an accident in 2016 along Waiyaki way, he was arrested and charged of drink driving
- He was also listed as a heir to SK Macharia fortune business Royal Media Services which houses Citizen TV, Hot 96 among other top radio stations
- At the time of his second death, he was drunk and also in accompany of a female passenger who escaped the horror accident
