In 2018, the cruel hand of death which again largely visited the world has plucked one celeb after the other since the beginning in January.
Even though as humans we had little to do, or did our best to prevent the demises, death should never be proud for thinking that it won the battle. Because one day also, death will also die its own death.
These are the iconic celebs we have lost in the world since onset of 2018
1.Kofi Annan
Former United Nations Secretary General Koffi Annan also died in the year 2018.
The Ghanaian passed on on Saturday 18th August in 2018 aged 80 years old while receiving treatment in Bern, Switzerland

2.John McCain
Senator John McCain, who confronted his captors in a prisoner of war camp in Vietnam and then maintained his rebellious spirit in a 35-year political career that took him to Congress and the Republican presidential nomination, died on 26th August 2018 after suffering from brain cancer for more than a year.
He was 81 years old.
McCain was an intrepid and frank voice to the end, unwavering in the defense of democratic values and without hesitation in his criticism of President Donald Trump, his fellow Republican. He was elected to six-time senator from Arizona, but failed in his two attempts to reach the White House.
3.Mowrezy
Ugandan popular singer Moses Ssekibogo of the Goodlyfe Crew aka Radio Weasal had his last breathe on 1/2/2018 at 6.am in the morning.
He was in a coma for about a week now after his head was hit when he engaged in a violent brawl at De Bar, a local hang-out spot in Entebbe town located in Kampala city

4.Physicist Stephen Hawking
Stephen Hawking, one of the most important and well-known scientists of all time, died at dawn on Wednesday 14th March in 2018 at his home in Cambridge, England, at age 76.
Hawking was known for his work in theoretical physics, cosmology and quantum mechanics, as well as being one of the great voices of the 21st century.
A man who was always one step ahead of the rest, with his famous predictions about the future of humanity, extraterrestrial life, artificial intelligence and, above all, with a great sense of humor.

Hawking had been diagnosed with ALS in 1963 at the age of 21 years. Then they gave him two years of life, however, and against all odds, He continued with his work becoming one of the most important scientists of S. XX and S. XXI.
5.Winnie Mandela
Politician and activist Winnie Madikizela-Mandela, second wife of former South African President Nelson Mandela, died on April 2nd in 2018 aged 81,after her family confirmed.
“With deep sadness, we want to communicate that Winnie Madikizela-Mandela died on Monday, April 2 at the Netcare Milpark hospital in Johannesburg, South Africa,” Mandela family spokesman Victor Dlamini said in a statement.
Madikizela-Mandela (Bizana, Eastern Cape, 1936-2018) has died “after a long illness” that has made her come and go from the hospital since the beginning of the year and for which she has “succumbed peacefully in the early afternoon of Monday “surrounded by her family.
The renowned activist suffered a kidney infection for which she was hospitalized and released on January 20.
“Madikizela-Mandela was one of the great icons of the struggle against apartheid,” said the family, who declared herself “deeply grateful” to her figure.
The family will soon detail the details of the funeral and acts of remembrance.
Winnie and Nelson Mandela separated in 1992, two years after the release of “Madiba” from prison – after 27 years imprisoned – and two years before he became the first black president of South Africa.
They met in 1957 and married in 1958, and their divorce became effective in 1996.
In 1994, after the first democratic elections, Madikizela-Mandela was appointed deputy and vice minister of Arts and Culture.
And has been a deputy since then, despite the few appearances in recent years.
Currently, Madikizela-Mandela continues to be a reference figure within the African National Congress (ANC), ruling in South Africa since the first democratic elections, after the end of apartheid, in which his ex-husband won (1994).
6.Barbara Bush
Barbara Bush was First Lady of the United States from 1989 to 1993 as the wife of George H. W. Bush, who served as the 41st President of the United States.
She died on 17th April 2018 aged at 93 years old.
7.Aretha Franklin
She was a singer – Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee, double Grammy winner, known as “The Queen of Soul“.

She died on 16th August 2018 age 76 when she succumbed to pancreatic cancer
8.Barbara Harris
Harris was a skilled and talented Actress who played as Evelyn Kelcher in “Peggy Sue Got Married” and Mary Blank in “Grosse Pointe Blank”
She succumbed to lung cancer aged at 83 years on 21st of August 2018.
9.Billy Graham
He was Baptist Minister and TV Christian evangelist under the famous tag Billy Graham Crusades between (1947-2005)
He was also a spiritual adviser to every U.S. President from Harry Truman to Barack Obama
He died on February 21st in 2018 at the age of 99 years.
10.Frank Avruch
He was an Actor – portrayed Bozo the star of “Bozo the Clown” syndicated TV show (1959-’70) – age 89 (heart disease)
