Mercy Masika popularly known by the song “Mwema” {good} which hit the airwaves from 2016, is a worship leader at Jubilee Christian Church{JCC},song writer,composer and a recording and performing artist.
- Mercy attended Machakos Girls High School before joining Daystar University in 2002. Currently, she is pursuing MBA In community development at Daystar university.
- Mercy speaks of her gift matter-of-factly, pointing out that she has always known that God called her to be a singer. She credits her early interest in music to her parents, especially her mother, Agnes Masika, herself a singer.
- Agnes was the face of that KBC programme of yore, Sing And Shine. Through this involvement, Mercy and her siblings were introduced early to shows like Joy Bringers, where they performed severally.
- Since 1994 to date,Mercy has 5 albums under her sleeve
- She released her debut album at twelve years of age, and had formed a music group at thirteen.
- Her sophomore album followed in form one, and she was appointed choir director for Machakos Girls High School.
- Mercy is married to David Tim Muguro and blessed with two children.
- She has won the following awards- in she won the 2013-2014 – PARTNER manager and ambassador for CIM Likewise also won 2 Groove awards –Artist of the year & Female artist of the year 2008 followed by Nominations for skiza tune of the year- 2010
