  4. He is the CEO and MD of Equity Group Holdings with the largest population of more than 8 million
  5. He was raised by a single mother after his father died in Mau Mau war.
  6. He studied at Nyagatugu Primary School and Ichagaki Secondary School
  7. He took over Equity Holding and revived its downfall from a population of 27000 to more than 8 million later
  8. Equity Bank has branches in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan
  9. His family own shares in the Equity Bank and Britam
  10. Mwangi’s family is listed as one of the richest Kenyan families with a net of $ 170 million US Dollars
