UDA Party aka United Democratic Party is headed by party leader DP William Ruto . It was formed after a fallout between the DP Ruto and President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Ahead of August General Election, UDA party has been receiving party members looking to vie on its ticket.

Tabitha Karanja Of Keroche – Nakuru County Senate
It was official as of January 2022, when former Keroche Breweries CEO Tabitha Karanja joined politics and straight ahead joined UDA party lead by DP William Ruto.
Karanja was introduced by Deputy President William Ruto during a joint rally with Amani National Congress leader Musalia Mudavadi and his FORD Kenya counterpart Moses Wetangula.
MC Jessy – South Imenti MP
Comedian MC Jessy has joined UDA part as he looks to vie for elective seat in 2022.

Davidson Ngibuini aka DNG is vying for MCA, Woodley Kenyatta Golf Course Ward in the 2022 General Elections.
DNG has joined the UDA ticket as he looks to become an MCA come 9th in August.
DNG is a Popular Kenyan radio presenter and events MC. He is also a former Kiss 100 radio presenter and currently on One FM.DNG made his debut in the entertainment industry in January 2003 after releasing his first single.

Popular vernacular radio presenter Njogu wa Njoroge joins politics
In January 2022, Njogu joined DP William Ruto’s UDA party.
He is set to vie for Njoro MP seat
Loise Kim – Kiambu Women Rep
Celebrated vernacular gospel musician Loise Kim officially joined the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) that will help her become the next Kiambu County Woman Representative.
Party leader DP William Ruto took to social media to welcome her.
“Proud to welcome gospel award-winning musician Loise Kim to the Hustler Nation. She is an aspirant for the Kiambu Women’s Representative position,” DP Ruto Tweeted.
The sitting county MP Gathoni wa Muchomba who vacates the seat before August 2022 has already set her sights on the Githunguri Constituency seat.

Rufftone – Nairobi Senatorial Seat
Gospel musician Roy Smith Mwatia alias Rufftone, has joined Deputy President William Ruto’s party – United Democratic Party (UDA), as he hopes to vie for Nairobi’s senatorial seat.
Rufftone has been on several campaign trails with his party leader DP Ruto, in bid to popularize himself over other aspirants.
Rufftone first declared interest in the Nairobi senatorial seat while back in November 2021, while in an interview with Comedian Mwalimu Churchill.
“Hii nime-disclose hapa for the first time, you are looking at the new incoming Nairobi Senator, Mr Roy Smith Mwatia.
“I will be vying in 2022,” Rufftone stated at the time.
Rufftone joined a long list of popular politicians looking to replace Nairobi Senator Jonshon Sakaja, among them ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna, Karen Nyamu and Maina Kamanda.
Jaguar
MP Charles Kanyi Njagua aka Musician Jaguar has joined DP William Ruto’s party UDA.
Jaguar made announcements on 24th January ahead of August elections.
I would like to thank H.E President Uhuru Kenyatta for the good working relationship that we have had over the years drawing way back from the time I was appointed as a board member at NACADA.
In 2017, MP Jauguar was elected the Member of Parliament for Starehe Constituency, and he will be vying for the same seat.
Due to this I feel that working with the Deputy President in his party as he runs for his presidential bid and as he works towards implementing his policies is the best option for my people of Starehe.
Mariga – Kibra MP
Former Footballer MacDonald Mariga joined politics in 2021 and will be looking to vie for Kibra seat on a UDA ticket.
