Death has already visited Africa before the end of first month in 2019 and plucked away Jazz music veteran Oliver Mtukudzi.

Oliver died on 23rd January 2019 in evening at Avenues Clinic in Harare, Zimbabwe.
His death came a month later when he started struggling with a short illness at his home.

- He was born 66 years ago on born 22 September 1952, then he was known as Oliver “Tuku” Mtukudzi. He was born in Harare, Zimbabwe’s capital city

- He is a father of five kids and two grandchildren, one of his son, a musician Sam Mtukudzi died in a car crash in 2010. He was born in a family of six, at the time of his death he had only three surviving siblings
