Machakos born Gideon Ndambuki, commonly known as Churchill is a Kenyan popular comedian. He hosts Churchill Live show, a popular Kenyan stand up comedy. The comedy not only aims to entertain its audience but also help nurture talented comedians. According to statistics, its a bout seventy three comedians that have risen to public limelight due to the show. Some of these comedians include: Eric Omondi, Sleepy David, Chipukizy, Teacher Wanjiku and others.

*Here are the facts you need to know about Churchill*

10. He is the *Kenyan celebrity with the highest facebook fans*. He has a bout 1.4 million facebook fans. This is far much beyond other celebrities such as President Uhuru Kenyatta and Lupita Nyongo. He has followers from East Africa and around the world.

9.In 2010, Churchill had to move swiftly and save his public image which was at the verge of being discredited. Social media was full of *rumors that he was found with somebody’s wife.* This raised eye brows among his fans, and almost discredited his public image. This was later revealed as a bid to blackmail the credibility of the celebrity.

8.*He is a play writer.* Ndambuki has done many play scripts. Some of the
plays he has scripted include: The 43rd Kenyan Tribe, Dare Kenya To Love
Kenya and Let Kenyans Be Kenyans.

7. *Churchill first lived with his uncle in Dandora phase 3*. This was the first time he came to Nairobi in 1990. His uncle was at that time working at Mbuni Dry Cleaners in Industrial Area.

6. Churchill is one of the lucky Kenyans to *have appeared in Who Is Who Kenya*. This listed him as one of the most prominent personality in Kenya.

5. He is the *director of Laugh Industry* . This is a production firm he created back in 1995. Laugh Industry deals with creation and production of comic shows.

4. Churchill has *acted in different films*. He has featured in the following films: First Grader(2010) and Malooned (2007)

3. The *first diet Churchill took in Nairobi was chips and sausage.* This was at Luthuli street few minutes after alighting from Machakos Country Bus Station.

2. Churchill was appointed *board member of Bomas of Kenya *in 2012 by then Minister of Tourism Hon Dan Mwanzo. Bomas of Kenya is culture rich tourism attraction center in Nairobi.
