Today early morning at 3am, 11 passengers and their driver perished at Salgaa black spot when a their matatu vehicle collided with a truck.
Police accounts that Great Rift Shuttle and a Mercedes-Benz Actros left other two people seriously injured on the Nakuru-Eldoret highway.
Rongai OCPD Japheth Kioko said the accident happened after the matatu driver lost control after hitting a cow, before colliding with the truck.
Truck Driver and his turn-boy were taken to Nakuru Level Five Hospital while the bodies to the countie’s hospital.
This accident, is not just one, and road users are not convinced it it the last one to ever happen.
They took to social media to condemn the government for consonantly ignoring the death spot.
