Sarah Pkyach beat 39 other fellows in 2018 to be crowned the official Miss Kenya Tourism on 13th October.
She is now the current Miss Tourism Kenya, Miss Tourism West Pokot County and Miss JKUAT (Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology).
Sarah will also represent Kenya in Miss Tourism International 2018 in Malaysia in December this year, and various international trips marketing Kenya.
Here are few facts about Sarah
- She’s a Third Year Student of B.Sc. Biostatistics in the College of Pure and Applied Sciences at JKUAT
- She is also a member of a club called ‘Mind your Mind’ which promotes mental health amongst students and aims at ensuring students attain their overall growth and potential
- She also holds a soft spot for people suffering from Tuberculosis (TB) especially those who have been isolated
- Sara has great oratory skills and a good grasp of culture and tradition from her community
- Sarah was awarded with 1.2 million shillings after wining the 2018 Miss Tourism contest
