Police in Tanzania have cast their security net wide as they begin to hunt for abductors who made away with Tanzanian billionaire Mohammed Dewji while he was on his way to a gym facility.

Aka Mo, was bound for Oyster Bay in Dar es Salaam for his routine gymnastic exercises.

Witnesses account that Mo was abducted by two white men with other accomplices who attacked him before dashing away in cars.

The kidnappers fired in the air and they drove away with the businessman.
